The stamp stele shows the value of gold inlaid jade bamboo from the beginning; bamboo forest is the environment, without a large area of gold inlaid jade bamboo forest, there is no fairyland like feeling; spring is the source of life of Zen house, without which Zen house will be dry and indifferent, lacking the flavor of life; Zen house is the main body of the whole landscape group, integrating natural landscape and cultural landscape, and becoming an important scenic spot of Huaguo Mountain.

The enlarged stamp on the tablet is the special stamp "bamboo" issued by the Ministry of Posts and telecommunications in June 1993. There are a set of four stamps, the second of which is our gold inlaid jade bamboo. Bamboo grows mostly in the south of the Yangtze River. Yuntai Mountain has a similar microclimate to the south, so it can grow a variety of bamboos. The low bamboos are as thick as reeds and cover the foot of the mountain; the tall bamboos are as thick as human arms and straight into the clouds. Among them, gold inlaid jade bamboo is a treasure of bamboo, which is characterized by a green shallow ditch in each section of the tender yellow bamboo pole, crisscrossing up and down. Before and after, it's like inlaying a piece of Jasper on the gold plate. It's beautiful and elegant, which makes people love it. It is recorded in the literature of Song Dynasty that the bamboo inlaid with gold is called Duichu in Sichuan, and the jade inlaid with gold in Xiangjiang. For more than 1000 years, it has been living and reproducing well, especially in Huaguo Mountain, where Pingzhu temple is the most prosperous. Therefore, it has been called Xizhu garden since ancient times, and the temple is also named after bamboo. Golden Jade bamboo, Holly peach, ginseng fruit and kiwi fruit are the four wonders of Huaguo Mountain.

Although the small courtyard is closed as a whole, it opens up a broad vision through the pavilion. The introduction of the great nature into the garden can be regarded as "the scholar does not go out, can see the mountain scenery". Here three open, wide field of vision, in front of a sea of green trees and bamboos. The main hall of Sanyuan palace is nearby; overlooking the South Gate of heaven, the clouds cover the fog, and the peaks are towering, stretching for hundreds of miles. Chang Jianji in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty once wrote a famous couplet for Pingzhu temple, which is the best portrayal of this place: the world is surrounded by mountains and the sea on one side; the structure in the cloud is composed of two parts of human power and eight parts of heaven. Of course, the sea retreated 300 years ago, and now there are ten thousand mu of fertile land at the foot of the mountain.

Phyllostachys aureosulcata f. spectabilis

Located in a piece of bamboo inlaid with gold and jade for a long time, jinliuyuzhu is a treasure in bamboo. On each section of the bright yellow bamboo pole, there is a green shallow ditch, which is staggered up and down. Before and after, it looks like a piece of Jasper inlaid on the gold plate. It is beautiful and elegant. Gold inlaid with jade and bamboo was recorded in the literature of Song Dynasty, and then gradually lost.

More than 10 years ago, hundreds of wild Polygonatum odoratum were discovered in the mainland, and some botanists marveled at their valuable discoveries. Later, people learned that this so-called lost and recovered rare species has been growing and reproducing well in Yuntai Mountain for more than a thousand years. Therefore, the second special stamp "bamboo" issued by the Ministry of Posts and telecommunications in June 1993 was made of gold inlaid jade bamboo from Lianyungang.
