In 2006, Changchun invested 60 million yuan to harness the "Chuanhu" in the West and changed its name to "Tianjia Park". In terms of design, Tianjia park is unique. It uses the existing landforms to re plan the land, and designs the park as a hilly park with undulating terrain and scattered heights. After the sewage purification station in the park is put into use, it can treat 20000 tons of domestic sewage per day.

Tianjia park is an open park with no fences and no tickets. The park has a gate in the East, South and North, and a small gate in the northwest and southwest. There are no large-scale amusement facilities in the park, all of which are based on landscape construction. The materials are all from natural wood and stone, close to nature. More than ten kinds of trees such as apricot and spruce are planted, wooden leisure chairs and pavilions are set up, and a fitness place is built. It has formed a leisure park with natural landscape and plant landscape as the main function, integrating ecology, sightseeing, leisure, entertainment, sports, fitness, fishing and other functions.
