Caozishan Forest Park

Caizishan Forest Park is located in the southeast suburb of Bengbu City, on the East Bank of Longzi Lake and the north side of Donghai Avenue. It is within 10 kilometers from Bengbu City and Fengyang County in the East. It covers an area of 1400 Mu and consists of three peaks in the East, middle and West.

Name source

Caizi mountain is the main part of the forest park. The highest peak is 97 meters above sea level. There are two peaks in the East and the West. It is said that there is a natural huge stone in Dongfeng, whose shape is like a cone, so it is named as the cone mountain. It is also said that Xifeng originally had a nine story Linglong tower built in the Eastern Han Dynasty. From a distance, this tower towered like a cone, so it got its name.

historical event

Qiyan temple was built in the Han Dynasty and destroyed in war in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Although it has been repaired many times, it has not been well preserved due to wars in previous dynasties.

scenery

Caozi mountain is lush with beautiful scenery. Since ancient times, it has been said that there are eight major sceneries and eight minor sceneries.

The eight major sceneries are Linglong tower, stone house, Longfeng bridge, gingko tree, milk spring, stone gate, Dianjiang platform and immortal bed; the eight minor sceneries are Feilai stone, mang stone, parrot stone, Laohu stone, Lou stone, lamp seat stone, stone jar and unintentional well. In 1996, the Management Office of caozishan Forest Park was established to carry out planning and management.

Qiyan Temple

Bengbu City will plan 164 mu of land around Qiyan temple to build the largest Buddhist theme park in Northern Anhui Baishishan Buddhist Culture Park.

The expansion project of Qiyan temple, the main part of Baishishan Buddhist Culture Park, covers an area of about 20 mu, which was started in 2012 with a planned investment of 300 million yuan. The Tianwang hall and the bell and Drum Tower of Qiyan temple have been capped. The construction of Shanmen hall is speeding up. The parking lot is ready for use.

According to the relevant staff of the development and Planning Bureau of the economic and Technological Development Zone, the planned scenic area around Qiyan temple covers an area of 164 mu. In the future, it will closely follow the Buddhist theme and make use of the existing landform to build the Oriental pure glass world, the central whirling world, the Western Paradise and the nether world from east to west. The whole scenic spot will be combined with Qiyan temple, which will be built into another holy land for praying for blessings in Anhui Province, and also the largest Buddhist theme park in Northern Anhui.

In 1997, after the establishment of Longhu Scenic Area Management Committee, the park was re planned, demonstrated and modified. The planned Park covers an area of 93 hectares. Guanyin temple, pigeon house and other important scenic spots located in Dongfeng are under construction, and Stone Lake with an area of 50000 square meters is also under development.
