Xiyao Lake

Xiyao lake, also known as foot washing dock, is located on Luohan mountain, the main peak of Meiling in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, covering an area of more than 10 mu.

Xiyao lake is located in subtropical monsoon climate, evergreen all year round, pleasant climate.

legend

It is said that Li Shizhen led his disciples here to collect and wash herbs in the Ming Dynasty, so it is called Xiyao lake. There is a local legend that Tieguai Li, one of the eight immortals, washed her feet here, so the local people call her "foot washing dock".

In summer in Xiyao Lake area, when the temperature in Nanchang reaches 40 ℃, the temperature here is only 30-32 ℃, which is also the milu of Meiling. Many comrades may know that the temperature drops by 0.5-0.6 ℃ for every 100 meters above sea level, but the temperature of Xiyao lake is 7-8 ℃ lower than that of Wanli city and 8-10 ℃ lower than that of Nanchang city. Meiling has become one of the 13th largest summer resorts in China. Xiyao lake is the treasure of the resorts. There are seven guest houses and more than 1000 beds here.

Main attractions

Luohan peak, the highest peak, is 841.4 meters above sea level. Here, you can enjoy the sunrise in the East, the lights in Hongcheng in the evening, the red azalea in the spring, the cool wind in Xiantai in the summer, the fruit in the autumn, and the flowers in the winter.

The whole journey takes about an hour, and the ticket price is 2 yuan. If you don't go to Meiling main peak, you'd better get off at Jinggangshan station and transfer to No. 112 bus, so it's easy to get the location at No. 112 terminus.

The whole route takes about 1 hour, and the ticket price is 1 yuan. The route passes Meiling Century Park, Wangjia village, Dianqian, Dishui scenic spot, Xichang village, jiejiedian, Taiping and wangshijian
