Ziweishan National Forest Park is located in the south of Quxian County, Zhejiang Province, covering an area of 5500 hectares. The park has dense forest and unique natural landscape. There is a semi primitive forest of Taxus chinensis. The park integrates strange mountains and rocks, natural caves, valleys and streams, and integrates mountains, forests, springs, waterfalls, clouds and fog into a valley, forming a dangerous, majestic, strange, secluded and beautiful landscape. The park consists of Longmen Gorge Scenic Area, Yaowang mountain scenic area, dayuanwei scenic area, Dongyan scenic area and Jiulong lake leisure resort.

Longmen Gorge Scenic Spot

Longmen Gorge Scenic Area has deep canyon, crisscross Valley streams, green pools and waterfall. Many of the peak cliff stone, like figures or various animal images, lifelike. Longmen gorge, Longjing waterfall, Longnv cliff, Shouxing forest and other scenic spots have been developed.

Longmen gorge is composed of dozens of V-shaped geological fault zones along the main ridge from shuimenjian (1452.6m above sea level), the first peak in the county, to julongding (1450m above sea level), the second peak. The height difference of the valley peak is 300-400 meters, the width is only a few feet, and the length is more than 10 kilometers. There are Longmen Valley, shimuwu, small Canyon, Grand Canyon, nongtang gorge, Longmen gorge, suspension bridge gorge, etc. In the valley, the cliffs are hundreds of meters or even thousands of meters high. The mountain is as powerful as a knife. According to the old county annals, Longmen gorge is 20 kilometers long, 100 feet deep and 9 feet wide. Cliffs and precipices are rare. So it is called "Longmen dead valley". The canyon is uninhabited up to now and has maintained a relatively complete and original state.

Longmen double bamboo shoots (Dragon and Phoenix stalagmites) stand tall and straight into the sky. The North stalagmite is 66 meters high and 17 meters thick, while the South stalagmite is more than 50 meters high and 9 meters thick.

Longjing waterfall is located at the end of the gorge, in the shape of a waist. The waterfall directly flows down to Longtan from the cliff 14 meters away. The depth of the pool is 8 meters. The sound of the waterfall is booming and the water quality is pure. Shouxing forest is a group of ancient trees beside kongjiashan natural village, including pine, camphor, metasequoia, milk source Manglietia, Taxus, Schima superba, etc., all of which are over hundreds of years old. Some Manglietia trees are more than 2 meters in diameter at breast height, and the largest one is about 35 meters in height and 3.8 meters in circumference. It is said that kongjiashan is related to the Confucius Temple of Nanzong. It used to belong to the Kongzi family.

Yaowang mountain scenic spot

Yaowang mountain scenic area is famous for its rich production of precious Chinese medicinal materials, including shennonggou, Mawei waterfall and Yaowang residence. The scenic spot gathers natural landscapes such as stone forest, waterfall, deep pool, canyon and dangerous peak.

Matou peak is located in the south of Mawei waterfall. It looks like a horse's head. It seems to be calling its owner!

Dagaoshi is a huge stone on a strange peak on the south side of tikengkou mountain, which is very similar to the Dagao of ancient warriors.

The eight immortals corridor is located in the lower part of the cliff of Mawei waterfall. The corridor is 80 meters zigzag along the cliff. You can feel the scene as if you are separated from the world of mortals.

On the right side of sanlaofeng's entrance, the three strange peaks are like three lifelike old men greeting each other.

Shilongtang is a stream bed more than 100 meters long. At the foot of the stream is Qingquan stone. The steep stone walls on both sides are as neat as knives. The narrow lane is only a few meters. Looking up, I can only feel that the cliffs on both sides are about to fall down. It's amazing!

Dayuanwei scenic spot

There are many types of forest communities in dayuanwei scenic area, including Taxus chinensis shrub community, evergreen primeval forest, evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest, coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest, etc. with rich species, it can be called the treasure house of plants in Western Zhejiang.

The forest vegetation of Taxus chinensis shrub community is representative in the central and western part of Zhejiang Province and even in the southeast of China. It is mainly distributed in dayuanwei area between shuimentou and julongding, with a continuous distribution area of more than 267 hectares, of which 86.7 hectares are concentrated. Taxus chinensis is a relict plant of the Tertiary period, which is a rare tree species under the second level national protection. The discovery of Taxus dayuanwei is of high scientific research value and ornamental value for the study of the origin of the flora in China, especially the flora in the western part of our province, the relationship with the flora in neighboring areas, and the changes of geological history. In addition, there are 8 national key protected plants and a number of rare tree species in the scenic area.

Dongyan scenic spot

Dongyan Dragon Palace is located on the mountainside of dongyanjian at an altitude of 1447 meters. It is hidden deep in the cliff and surrounded by a hundred Zhang cliff. There are hundreds of square meters of open space in the cave, tall and deep. There are dragon beds and dragon tables in the cave, which are said to be the place where the ancients prayed for rain. There is Longjing spring in the cave, running like a white drill.

Baizhang silver waterfall, with silver cliff and Zhangyan, has a drop of 114 meters, which is as magnificent as silver flowing beads.

Yanju Lingyan mountain, Yan nest cave, known as Yanyan. In front of the rock is a stone wall as high as 100 meters, and under the rock is an unfathomable abyss. A trickle of rain and mist in the falling.

Jiulong lake leisure resort Jiulong lake is located in the northwest corner of the park. The lake area is winding for more than ten kilometers. The bright and quiet lake, with the green mountains and trees on both sides of the bank, and the pleasant climate, is an ideal leisure resort. Along the lake, there are Acacia Island, circular island and other scenic spots, as well as Huaguo Mountain Ecological Park, Wolong villa, Menglong villa and other tourist resorts built by the mountains and rivers.
