Jade fairy Palace

Yuxian palace is located in Houlin village, Daji Town, Xianyou County, Putian City, Fujian Province, with square and stage in front, Sanhui temple in the back, earth temple on the left and folk houses on the right. There are about 1200 believers in three villages.

Founded in the Ming Dynasty, the palace was rebuilt in December 1985 and rebuilt again in 1992. Now the temple faces east and West. The main hall is five rooms wide, with a construction area of 420 square meters, 20.2 meters long and 21 meters wide. There is one volume of Mazu's poems in the palace.

The jade fairy palace is dedicated to Mazu, whose statue is carved in wood.

Major cultural relics

A plaque was hung in the palace: "holy land for thousands of years", "Jiumu Liufang", "Yingling for thousands of years" and "eternal spirit".

Folk activities

Every year, on the 8th of the first lunar month, Mazu travels around the Lantern Festival; on the 23rd of the third lunar month, Mazu celebrates Christmas; on the 9th of the ninth lunar month, Mazu's ascension day is commemorated. The offerings include 36 pots of seafood, five fruits and six vegetarian dishes, five soup and ten brocade dishes, etc.
