Dongbu park is located in the Gaoxin Park in the northern New District of Chongqing, covering an area of 100 mu, with a green coverage rate of 90%. It is a famous ecological park in Chongqing. There are more than 60 species of plants in the park, such as Pueraria lobata, Cinnamomum camphora, Ginkgo biloba, chongyangmu, Ficus microcarpa and many flowering plants such as peach, cherry, red plum, Chimonanthus praecox, crabapple, Gardenia jasminoides, Michelia and Osmanthus fragrans.

There are basketball court, tennis court, badminton court, gate court, children's playground, some fitness and entertainment facilities and 800 meter fitness track around the park.
