Baishitougou ecotourism area is located in Daqingshan, northwest of Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with the geographic coordinate of 111 E. 26apos;---1111。 28 apos;, 40 n. 51apos;---40。 46 apos;, covering an area of 28 square kilometers.

"Baishitougou ecotourism zone" is an important project of national "Three North" Shelterbelt, Beijing Tianjin sandstorm source control project, Daqingshan front slope barren mountain control project, returning farmland to forest and grassland. It is a comprehensive project integrating tourism, barren mountain life control, sports culture, animal and plant protection and breeding. There are a large area of secondary forests (birch, wild pear, apricot, papaya), artificial birch and fruit trees in the scenic area. The vegetation coverage rate of the main scenic area is more than 55%, and the plant coverage rate of the shady slope is more than 75%. The ecological condition is good, which is few in Daqingshan. Due to the different changes of vegetation in different seasons, youth is green in summer and red in autumn, which is of great ornamental value. There are Qingyang, roe deer, wild deer, hare, squirrel, eagle, pheasant, stone quail and other animals in the scenic area.
