Founded in 1988, Tianjin dormitory garden is located on the south side of nanmaji Lishuang Road, Shuanggang Town, Jinnan District, Tianjin city. It covers an area of 466 Mu and has 54 employees. It is the only garden style state-owned cemetery integrating ashes storage and ashes burial in Tianjin city.

In 1997, it was rated as "advanced unit of funeral reform in Tianjin", in 1998, it was rated as "civilized unit of Tianjin", and in 1998, it was named as "grade II cemetery of Tianjin" by Tianjin Civil Affairs Bureau.
