Xintang Park

Xintang Park, founded in 2000, is located in Xintang Town near Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. Xintang park is an important ecological park in Xintang. At the same time, it is a multi-functional public place integrating citizen square, daily rest, town celebration activities and cultural and sports activities.

About the park

Xintang Park (also known as Xintang civic cultural activity center, located near No. 6, Xintang Avenue central, 150 meters to the west of Vocational Education University),

Built in 2000, it covers an area of 100 mu. With the rapid economic development of Xintang Town, people have higher and higher requirements for the functions and sites of urban supporting public facilities. The existing area of Xintang park is far from meeting the needs of its development as a multi-functional green space and central town integrating leisure, entertainment, fitness, assembly and improving urban landscape.

In 2007, the Party committee and government of Xintang Town listed the reconstruction and expansion of the existing park as the key work. The expansion project of Xintang civic cultural activity center started in May 2007 and was completed in May 2008.

After the completion of the expansion, four basic functional areas will be formed: leisure activity space, open activity space, sports and cultural activity space, and traffic flow space.

The function orientation is as follows: it is an important ecological park in Xintang in daily life, as well as an important place for citizens' Square, daily rest, town celebration activities and cultural and sports activities. Xintang citizens' cultural activity center brings beauty, vitality and liveliness to Xintang. At the same time, it also improves the enjoyment of Xintang people in spiritual civilization. It is also the coordinate of Xintang towards a green industrial city.
