Zhangping Museum

Zhangping museum is a city (county) level comprehensive museum, which was established in 1988. The new site is located in the scenic area of Dongshan Park with beautiful scenery, quiet environment and historical and cultural symbolic significance. The newly-built Zhangping Museum covers an area of 4223 square meters with a total investment of 4.3 million yuan.

Development history

Its basic functions are: collection and storage, scientific research and exhibition. It will become a new cultural exhibition tourism area in Zhangping City, which integrates culture and education, tourism and entertainment.

Zhangping has a long history, rich cultural relics and rich cultural heritage. The new Zhangping City Museum is planned to set up Zhangping history exhibition hall, Zhangping revolutionary history exhibition hall, Zhangping construction achievement exhibition hall, Wang Jinghong memorial hall, Chen xingchu memorial hall, and Zhiqing love and fate Museum and other special exhibition halls, so as to build the city museum into an important base for educating the general public on patriotism and revolutionary tradition, cultivating patriotism and hometown feeling, and cultivating national spirit. At the same time, it has become an important classroom for teenagers to learn revolutionary tradition, receive education and cultivate moral sentiment.

The newly-built City Museum has completed the decoration and exhibition work of the intellectual youth love hall, Chen xingchu Memorial Hall and red Zhangping hall. Other special exhibition halls will be completed and opened to the public before October 2007.
