Dashahe Wetland Park

Dashahe Wetland Park is one of the five ecological zones planned for the Shuixiu Huaxiang ecological zone in Liwan District of Guangzhou city. It was completed during the Guangzhou Asian Games. Dasha River is 5.2 km long and runs from north to south, of which 1.6 km runs through Guangzhou flower expo park. Nearly 3000 mu of land on both sides is surrounded by flowers. The scattered wetland islands on Dasha River are rare ecological landscapes in Guangzhou.

The main scenic spots are fisherman's Wharf, Furong bridge, bird watching paradise, Taoran Pavilion, Golden Corridor, Fangfei Island, Xiushi Pavilion and Yixiang garden.

Dashahe Wetland Park is located in Fangcun, Liwan District, Guangzhou City, near Nanhai District, Foshan City. It crosses Longxi Avenue in Fangcun, Liwan District and Guangzhou flower expo park, about 160 meters away from Longxi station of Guangzhou Foshan Metro.

Transportation guide

1. From subway one

Take about 290 meters from exit D of Fangcun station to Liangui north station, take bus 207 (14 stops) to Guangzhou Flower Expo Park terminal, and then walk about 100 meters to Haizhong North Road.

2. From Xilang station of Metro Line 1, transfer to Guangfo Metro to exit a of Longxi station, and walk about 160 meters to the east to see the entrance position, or transfer to No. 412 (3 stations) to Guangzhou Flower Expo Park Station (it is not recommended to transfer to bus, this bus does not leave frequently).

Facilities in the park

The main entrance of Dashahe Wetland Park is not far from the entrance. There are bicycle rental points and canteens. There are bicycle greenways in the whole park.

Food and beverage

Dashahe Wetland Park is a free open scenic spot. There are no food and beverage spots in the park, but there are Jincheng restaurant, Zhuxi restaurant, egong village, weijiatianxia, Haibei Hotel and so on around the park
