Chaoyin Pavilion

Chaoyin Pavilion stands on the east coast of Wuyuan Town, near the downtown area to the north and facing the waves of Hangzhou Bay. It is a newly built Pavilion in recent years, which provides Haiyan citizens and foreign tourists with a place for sightseeing and leisure. It was started in August 1989 and completed in the Spring Festival of 1992.

The pavilion is an antique three-story building, with simple shape, golden roof and exquisite corners. It covers an area of 1723 square meters, with a total construction area of 703 square meters. It has three floors high and one floor underground, with a height of 19 meters, a width of 12 meters and a depth of 12 meters. There are four railings on each floor.

On the top of it, you can overlook the surrounding scenery and have a panoramic view. Looking at the sea in the East, the distant sails, the undulating mountains, the seabirds flying, the surging tides, all in the ear, looking south at China's first nuclear power plant - Qinshan nuclear power plant, looking west at the city, you can see the glittering lights at night. Looking to the north of Zhapu Port, you can remember the fine weather.

Listen to the tide sound in Chaoyin Pavilion: the tide in Haiyan County is not as good as that in Haining due to its geographical relationship. But when the tide rises, the waves rise and fall and advance slowly. Its pleasant tide sound is indescribable. It's like the chime bells of the Warring States period, or the Guqin playing the song of flowing water in high mountains. The more you listen to it, the more interesting it is.
