Meiligeng natural scenic spot

Meiligeng (meaning "smart" in Mongolian) natural ecological scenic spot nestles in the southern foot of Wula mountain in Yinshan Mountain range, 30 kilometers west of Baotou, overlooking Jiuqu Yellow River in the South and Bayannaoer League in the West. It is a natural scenic spot with numerous giant spherical granite mountains, waterfalls and plant landscapes. In the scenic area, there are majestic canyons such as meiligenggou, shibaoketugou and Xigou. The mountain is majestic, deep and dangerous. The main peak, Dahuabei, is 2324 meters above sea level.

Among the steep rocks, numerous waterfalls and flowing springs are cascading in series, with beautiful and peculiar scenery. Meiligeng waterfall is a rare spring waterfall in the north, which is a fissure water formed by geological compression, and integrates into a waterfall with a drop of 66 meters. A Hongfei waterfall pours into the deep green pool, just like falling from the sky, with the potential of the Milky way falling into the valley for nine days. Meili has abundant rainfall, luxuriant trees and cool and pleasant climate. Its scenery is different in four seasons, with birds singing and flowers fragrance in spring, clouds and springs in summer, red leaves in autumn and icicles growing in the middle of winter. It is an excellent resort for mountaineering and sightseeing.
