Lvshun railway station, located in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China, is a second-class station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Shenyang Bureau Group Co., Ltd.

In 1898, Lushun station was built;

On April 20, 2014, Lushun station was officially shut down.

Historical evolution

In 1898, Lushun station was built.

In October 1900, the construction of Lushun station was designed and started by tsarists.

In 1945, after the surrender of Japan, the Soviet Red Army took over Lushun station, which was jointly operated by China and the Soviet Union.

On December 31, 1952, the Chinese government officially took over the Lushun railway station.

On July 11, 1985, Lushun station house was listed as a cultural relic protection unit of Dalian city.

In 2002, Lushun station was listed in the first batch of key protected buildings in Dalian.

On April 20, 2014, Lushun station was officially shut down; on April 22, it was no longer in operation and only retained the ticketing business.

On December 2, 2017, Lushun station was selected into the second batch of Chinese 20th century architectural heritage list.

Design concept

The architectural style of Lushun station has distinct Russian characteristics. The station building is of brick and wood structure, with exquisite and beautiful shape, unique and bright, white walls and green windows full of poetic and picturesque; the top of the building is a green dome tower, with fish scale iron tile surface above the tower; the external wall of the building is made of wood mesh, with harmonious colors; the structure of the wooden canopy on the platform is reasonable and full of aesthetic feeling , integrated with the station.
