Wangling Park

Changsha Wangling Park, also known as Wangyue Park, is located at the intersection of Rongyin North Road and xianjiahu road in Hexi of Changsha City, adjacent to Changsha high tech Industrial Development Zone. The park is a key cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level. The tombs of Wang wurui's family in Changsha of the Western Han Dynasty are well-known in the park, so the park was named Wangling park when it was first built.

The park covers an area of 18 hectares. The terrain is high in the West and low in the East. The terrain is mainly hilly, with an average altitude of 73.7 meters. The green space coverage rate is 90%. Among them, there are 110 mu of mountainous areas and 70 mu of grassland and water surface. The main roads are cement roads and mountain roads. There are about 120 kinds of trees in the park, accounting for more than 20000. The construction of the park is mainly based on natural scenery, supplemented by artificial garden art.

At the entrance of the park, there is a relief sculpture imitating Han Dynasty painting. Under it are mulberry picking, cattle farming, chariots and horses, and knights. On the top, the clouds are elegant and auspicious. The sun, moon, dragon and rosefinch are in the center. It reproduces the advanced production technology of Changsha state in the Western Han Dynasty, the powerful military force, and the dream of people's soul ascending to heaven.

The first thing that comes into view is the golden osmanthus and silver osmanthus, which occupy half a mile beside the main road. In the golden autumn, the garden is full of fragrance. Elephant trunk mountain, fan-shaped mountain and lion mountain stand in the same position, reflecting each other. Outside the park, the traffic is very convenient. There is a wide and flat xianjiahu road in the south, a main road of the first ring road in the East, yinpen road in the south, and the mother river in Hunan, Xiangjiang River. In the north, there is a 60 meter wide Jinxing Avenue.

The park has begun to take shape. It is one of the comprehensive parks integrating entertainment, catering, landscape and so on in Changsha City. It has won the honorary titles of four best green parks in Hunan Province and the best park in Hunan Province.

There is No.317 bus line passing through the bus station of Wangling park. There are five bus stops nearby, namely wangyuehu community (471 meters), sishuichang (565 meters), wangyuehu (610 meters), yingcaiyuan (774 meters), etc.
