The temple of dragon mother in Tengxian county is the patron saint of Xijiang River Valley in ancient times.

Tengxian dragon mother was the ancient protector of Xijiang River Basin. She helped the people to fight floods and natural disasters. Her highest ideal is to "benefit the world", and she is respected and loved by all the people. The site of Longmu temple is located in xiaotongfang, Shuidong street, Yidu, Tengxian county.

Tengxian Longmu temple has a long history. In 1108, Emperor Weizong of the Song Dynasty gave it the title of "Xiaotong Temple". Taiping Huanyu Ji, the national geographic records of the Song Dynasty, recorded the Longmu temple in Tengxian. Tengxian Longmu temple is a temple with the same name as Yuecheng Longmu temple and Wuzhou Longmu temple in Deqing County, Guangdong Province. Unearthed from the original site are the seal of the Dragon Mother Temple, a lion headed beast with a snake body, a stone pier with a lotus pillar, and a censer with the character "Dragon Mother Niang". There are temple fairs every year on the day of Yilong's mother's birthday in early May and the day of Yilong's mother's death in early August. During the birthday of the dragon mother, Teng County, Guangdong Province, will be invited to send four good women to the Dragon Mother Temple in Yuecheng to dress and bathe the dragon mother. The departure ceremony is held here. The ceremony is full of honest folk characteristics.
