Clear lake

Clear lake is the largest lake in Kaohsiung, with a wide surface and clear water. It is also the source of drinking water for Kaohsiung residents. There are forests and shrubs in the scenic area. The trees are luxuriant all the year round. You can watch birds in the open flat land and enjoy the panoramic view of the lake area by climbing on the Zhongxing tower. You can have a panoramic view of all kinds of pavilions and simple buildings. There are many activity facilities in Qingning Lake scenic area, such as rock climbing field, mountain training field, paintball field, swimming pool, camp fire field, forest park and wooden house area. It is a good place for relaxation and leisure.

Clear lake

Located in Niaosung District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan Province, also known as Dabei lake or Dayu lake, the lake is the largest lake in Kaohsiung. It has the reputation of Taiwan's West Lake and is one of the famous tourist areas in southern Taiwan. The lake can be divided into three areas: water source, scenery and recreation. It has beautiful scenery such as Jiuqu bridge and Zhongxing tower. It attracts about one million people to visit it every year.

Starting from the gate, the current scenic spots are seawater Pavilion, freshwater Pavilion, Jiuqu bridge, Liuan Guanlian, Fuguo Island, Zhongxing Island, Zhongxing tower, Qianlin, Zhongling tower, Youth Activity Center, santing Range Rover, Deyue tower, etc., and there is a road around the lake. Among them, the Youth Activity Center also has a physical training ground, archery field, forest cottage and perfect campsite.

Located in Niaosung Township, Kaohsiung County, Qingning lake is the largest lake in Kaohsiung, formerly known as "Dabei Lake" or "Dabei Lake", which is comparable to the West Lake in mainland China. It is also an important water source and scenic spot. Meilong Chunxiao and quqiao diaoyue step into the majestic sightseeing gate. At a glance, you can see two red Chinese style palace buildings, the freshwater Pavilion on the left and the seawater Pavilion on the right. The museum displays rare fish from all over the world.

Famous scenic spot

Famous scenic spots include Sanqiao, Liusheng and Bajing. The three bridges are Jiuqu bridge, magpie bridge and suspension bridge. Liusheng is liberty Pavilion, gengshangtai, Fengyuan Pavilion, baihuagang, Fuguo island and qianshulin. The eight scenic spots are Meilong Chunxiao, quqiao gouyue, Liuan Guanlian, gaoqiu Wanghai, Shenshu songbird, Hushan Jiaqi, santing Ranger and Pengdao Yongjin. Jiuqu bridge is the most famous one in the scenery of fishing for the moon. Jiuqu bridge was built in 1960 with seven pillars and nine curved deck, so it is called Jiuqu bridge.

Bird pine Wetland Park is located in the east of the gate of the clear lake. It is the first constructed wetland park in Taiwan. The vegetation and pond ecology are very rich. In addition to providing wildlife habitat, it also provides parent-child recreation places and natural ecological teaching areas. There are barbecue area, camping area and tea making area in the park, which is suitable for the whole family to visit here.

If you want to have a panoramic view of the lake area, you need to climb the Zhongxing tower, which is the tallest building in the lake. There is a circular ladder inside the tower, which goes straight up to the top of the tower. It's refreshing to see the green golf course in the rear from a distance. Whether it is a curved bridge, a lake, a pavilion, or a famous three pavilions (such as, Qingru, Danru), deyuelou, Zhengqi Pavilion, all kinds of simple and elegant architectural pavilions are well-known.

You can take bus No. 60 in front of Kaohsiung railway station, No. 70 at qianzhen station and No. 79 at jinshihu station; you can take bus No. 603 and 701 in Fengshan City; there is a shuttle bus from Kaohsiung Xiaogang International Airport to Fengshan; it takes about 30 minutes from 6:30 to 21:40.

Transportation information: 1. Take Kaohsiung City Bus 60, 17, 70 to reach the lake scenic area;

2. Take bus 111, 603, 701, 702 and 703 from Fengshan to Qingning Lake scenic spot;

3. Kaohsiung Xiaogang International Airport has a Kaohsiung passenger shuttle bus to Fengshan. The operation time is 6:30-21:40, about 30 minutes;

4. High speed railway: take the high-speed railway to Zuoying high-speed railway station, and then transfer to a taxi to reach Qingning Lake scenic spot
