Yuese Jiangsheng was built in 1703, the 42nd year of Kangxi reign. There are three gates and halls near the lake. Emperor Kangxi's title is "the sound of the moon on the river", which is based on Su Shi's "Ode to red cliff". Whenever the moon goes up to Dongshan, the lake is clear and quiet, and only the water of the lake waves on the shore, and the sound is pleasant. The architectural layout of the island adopts the northern courtyard style, and the halls are connected by corridors. There is a cold fragrant Pavilion in the west of the gate hall. You can enjoy the lotus in midsummer. In the north of the gate hall is Jingji mountain house, which is the reading place of the Qing emperor. Yingxin hall is also the study of the Qing emperor. In the courtyard behind the hall, Emperor Kangxi's title is "painting of lakes and mountains". When you open a window and look into the distance, you can see the scenery of lakes and mountains, which is picturesque. It seems that the pillars outside the gate and hall are inclined, but actually they are firm. This is one of the three unique features of the villa architecture. It is said that this design was inspired by Kangxi, implying that "the upper beam is not right and the lower beam is crooked" to warn the officials.

The main hall of the island is located in the southwest of the island, named jingjishanfang. It is a quadrangle courtyard with five rooms in width. The name of qingshengzu is "Moonlight River sound". The main hall of Jingji mountain house is in the door, with seven rooms wide and three rooms deep. There are corridors in front and behind, rolling shed and mountain top. It faces south. In the north of the room is the study of emperor Shengzu and Emperor Gaozong of Qing Dynasty, named Yingxin hall, with seven rooms.
