Liyang Road (disway Road)

Liyang road is located in the Lu Xun Park plate in the middle of Hongkou District. It starts from Hongkou port on the Bank of Huangpu River in the South and ends at Sichuan North Road in the north. It was originally called tisiwei road. It was even more named in 1943. Because Liyang road was opened earlier, it is mostly lined with old style lanes and warehouses on both sides of the road. Famous buildings include Guo Moruo's former residence, Lu Xun's library, Shanghai Federation of trade unions before liberation, Cao Juren's former residence, Jin Zhonghua's former residence, etc. Liyang road has two sections, separated by Siping Road.
