Shuixinxie is in the north of the East Palace of the summer resort. It is an important passage between the palace area and the lake area. It was built in 1709, the 48th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign, and inscribed with the imperial pen. In 1754, it was listed as the eighth scene of "thirty six scenes of Emperor Qianlong". The pavilion is built between xiahu lake and Yinhu lake. There are three pavilions in the upper row, three square pavilions with double eaves in the north and south, and three water pavilions with double eaves in the middle. The pavilion is in the water, with vast space on both sides, rippling blue waves, and picturesque sceneries all around. It really has the poetic flavor of "flying angle, high Qian, empty eaves, long cave, sky light up and down, shadow falling into the sky". Xiedong's original Wenyuan Shizi forest, which imitates Suzhou Shizi forest, has 16 beautiful sceneries. It is the garden of mountain manor.
