Tanbaoquan

Tanbaoquan, also known as dongtanchi, Tanjing. It is located in the fourth Valley Village under Mingkong mountain in Lingyan Temple scenic area. It was named after an ancient Pterocarpus tatarinowii tree with a chest circumference of about 1 meter on the top of the cave type spring pool built with stone. The cave is 3 meters deep, 3 meters wide and 1.2 meters high. Water flows out of the cave, accumulates in a 1.8 meter square stone pool, and then flows into a 40 meter long, 14 meter to 20 meter wide reservoir along the culvert.

It's named after the evergreen sandalwood tree growing beside the spring. It is adjacent to mountains in the South and villages in the north. Tanyin spring is moist, and the spring is famous for Tanlin. The spring is flourishing all the year round. It is the main water source for the production and life of Lingyan villagers. Tanbao spring is one of the 72 Famous Springs in Jinan.

Development history

Tanbaoquan is located in the fourth valley village of lingyanyu, Wande Town, Changqing District. Because the spring is covered by an ancient Green Sandalwood and surrounded by sandalwood roots, it gets its name. The spring water flows out from the cave. The water is strong all the year round. In the dry season, the spring water is also loud. It is about 20 meters under the water and flows into a square stone pond. The water surface is close to 5000 square meters.

The natural landscape around the spring is excellent, and the spring is very prosperous, which can be called the first famous spring in Changqing.
