Yuhuan spring
Yuhuan spring: commonly known as Yuhuan well, located in the middle of the Yangtze River. The middle section of Fuqian street is 1.3 meters in diameter. This spring is named because of the two springs' mutual flow and the water pattern, such as jade ring. The stele of famous spring in Jin Dynasty, the poem of 72 springs in Ming Dynasty and the record of 72 springs in Qing Dynasty are all recorded.
The water of Yuhuan spring is fresh and sweet. In the past, residents of Japan street used to drink it. Zhong Tingying, a man of the Qing Dynasty, wrote a poem praising: "the well is cold, the spring is cold, the jade ring is new, and one ring divides half of the city's people. Qingling Chen knew the Qinghua school, but he was told too seriously by a fool. "
This spring was once covered when it widened the front street of the provincial government in 1978, and it was restored in 1982. A prefabricated concrete slab roof with round holes was used on it, showing the shape of two rings. The stele in Quanxi is engraved with the word "yuhuanquan" and painted in red. It was a public building for the whole street in 1880. There are mountains and rocks standing on both sides of the spring, which are as steep as bamboo shoots.
