South Shangshan Street Church

Nanshangshan Street Church is located at No. 20, South Shangshan street, Weiyi Road, Jingqi road. In 1923, funded by the Southern Baptist Church of the United States, it purchased 1.4 hectares of land in South Shangshan street, built a chapel and housing. The old chapel can accommodate 500 people, and attached with Zhenguang women's middle school and women's Taoist school.

Introduction to scenic spots

The denomination uses immersion washing. Since its establishment in 1951, it has been receiving grants from the Southern Baptist Church of the United States. In 1959, there were 360 believers. In the same year, it carried out united worship and stopped gathering. Later, the old church could not be used because it was in disrepair, so the old church was demolished and the new church was built. In December 1986, South Shangshan Street officially resumed.
