Jinning Zhenghe Park

Zhenghe Park, on the moon mountain of Kunyang, 60 kilometers away from Kunming. Originally named Yueshan Park, Kunyang was the hometown of Zheng He, and the tomb of his father mahazhi was on Yueshan, so it was renamed in 1979. More than 250 mu of Forest Park, pine forest, Berlin, fruit forest, lush; climbing high and looking far, the scene is open. It's a very promising park.

Zheng He's surname is Ma, and his small name is Sanbao. Hui nationality. Born in Kunyang in 1371. At present, there is a stele named "hometown of Zheng He, eunuch of the three guarantees of Ming Dynasty" in the park, and the remains of civil buildings are found near the stele. Both Zheng He's grandfather and father had been to Mecca, the holy land of Islam. When he was young, he had heard about foreign affairs. In the early Ming Dynasty, he became a eunuch in the palace and later served the king of Yan in Beijing. In the struggle for the throne between Emperor Zhu Di and Jianwen Emperor Zhu Yun, "meritorious service, promote eunuch" ("history of the Ming Dynasty · biography of Zheng He") became an important person beside Ming Chengzu.
