Puxian boat

Located in the mountain stream of longmendong, there is a long boulder about 35 meters long and 2.5 meters wide in the stream. It is shaped like a boat, and there are layers of shale rock accumulation on it, such as the Sutra folding stones, which is called "Puxian boat" by Buddhists.

The local people call it "stone boat". It is said that when Puxian came to Mount Emei from the west, it was still a vast sea with mountains like green islands in the water. Puxian stopped the boatman carrying the Scriptures here. Before the Scriptures were finished, the water had receded and the boat was stranded. In order to prevent the scriptures from being stolen and lost, Pu Xian Applied Buddhism and turned them into stone boats, which have been preserved up to now.
