Yongkang Forest Park is located in Yongkang village and chuanxiying village of jinhuaqiao District, covering an area of 1335 mu.

Yongkang Forest Park is located in Yongkang village and chuanxiying village in jinhuaqiao District, with a planning area of 2160 mu. The first phase project covers an area of 1335 mu, including 632 mu in Yongkang village and 703 mu in chuanxiying village. The park is close to Jiang'an River and rich in water resources. There are natural slope land, nursery, massive green space and primitive pastoral style in the garden, forming a good natural environment

Yongkang Forest Park is located in the southwest corner of the city center. It is windward and upstream. It is the main air inlet of the city. The park land belongs to the category of non construction land in the master plan of the city. In the urban-rural integration plan compiled by Chengdu, Yongkang Forest Park is planned as a conference and holiday center.

Yongkang Forest Park, as one of the theme parks on the Jiang'an river ecological leisure belt in Wuhou District, will be featured by inland river wetland water culture, Shuhan Three Kingdoms culture, Western Sichuan dwellings and folk culture, and will be built into a green eco city functional service area integrating conference, vacation, leisure, entertainment and sightseeing.

The construction of Yongkang Forest Park is an important part of the city's construction of "garden city" in 2005. The park has been built into a reception center of "Yucui thatched cottage" with Chinese garden characteristics.
