Sheung Cheung Wai is located in Ping Shan, Yuen Long, Hong Kong. It is the only Wai village along Ping Shan Heritage Trail. "Shangzhang" is the first-class jade. The village has a history of over 200 years since it was founded by the Deng people in Kengtou village. Originally, there was a wall built of green bricks. The layout of the wall was neat. The houses were built in rows. The gatehouse and the Shrine were located on the central axis. Today, some walls have been demolished, while the gatehouse, the shrine and some ancient houses in the enclosure have been preserved. The layout, structure and style of the traditional village can still be seen.

The gate couplet says, "Shanglin is beautiful, Zhangbi is brilliant." The door couplet of shenting said: "the dry peak is strong, the Daiding is prosperous, the water is smooth, and the spring is rich. (thanks to you, prosperity)
