National Chiayi University

National Chiayi University is a national university located in Chiayi, Taiwan. It was formerly known as Chiayi agriculture and forestry school in 1919 and provincial Chiayi normal school in 1957. It was upgraded and merged into a comprehensive university in 2000. At present, it has the headquarters of Lantan school, Minxiong campus, Xinmin campus, Linsen campus used as the advanced education department and Shekou practice forest farm of Zhongpu township. There are six colleges of Agronomy, science and engineering, life science, management, normal education, humanities and arts, with 36 departments and 44 research institutes. There are also experimental primary schools and kindergartens.
