Turpan Library

Turpan library, founded in 1979, is a branch level institution with full budget management. The Library covers an area of 2300 square meters, with a total collection of 203346 books and 500 reading seats, including 85 electronic reading seats and 171 children's reading seats. At present, there are 18 staff members, including 7 Uighurs and 11 Hans, including 13 professional and technical personnel and 9 middle and senior professional titles, accounting for 50% of the staff. There are seven circulation departments in the library, including adult Uyghur Chinese and children's reading room, Uyghur Chinese lending room, local literature and reference room, electronic reading room and academic lecture hall.
