Shengguotan
Located in the middle of Xiangshan peak in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province. The pool is generally round, about 2 meters in diameter, surrounded by rocks, and looks like a big well. There is a spring under the pool, so the water is very clear and does not dry up all the year round. There is no bottom snail in the pool, which is a wonder of Xiangshan.
This pool is also known as shunguotan. It is said that Dayu controlled the water in the southeast in ancient times and had a little rest in Xiangshan. He took the spring water to quench his thirst. He felt that the spring water was clear and mellow, so he opened the sword to form a pool, so it was named shunguotan.
