Blocked by the snow peak of Mira mountain in the East, the local climate is warm and humid, and the vegetation coverage rate is more than 98%. Most of them are cypress, birch, willow, shrub and alpine meadow. Local products include Cordyceps sinensis, Saussurea involucrata, Fritillaria, Angelica sinensis, Rhodiola, gentian flower and other precious medicinal materials. Wild animals such as Swertia deer, bear, wild sheep, hot spring snake, black necked Crane and so on are often found in the mountains. It is a unique natural ecological reserve in Lhasa city. In the Mozhu River, there are also Tibetan naked scale fish, Lhasa silver carp and other fish, which are rich in natural resources. Many hot springs also left "God gate" and "Tara emulsion". As early as in the Tubo Period, the Tibetan medical classics Jingzhu materia medica and Sibu medical classics also mentioned that the hot spring was called "the liquid of gods" and could wash five poisons (greed, anger, infatuation, laziness and jealousy), saying: "if you drink it, your soul will be baptized; if you bathe it, your skin will be clean". Riduo hot spring belongs to iv-36b dominant resource area in Tibet geothermal resource regionalization. In May 2002, the Department of land and resources of the autonomous region organized experts to evaluate the hot springs in riduo. Through comprehensive evaluation: the natural self overflow hot water of the hot spring meets the national standard of GB 13727-92 for medical hot mineral spring water, and is named as fluorine, boron, silicon, arsenic and lithium compound medical hot mineral water.

Riduo hot spring has a long history of "natural overflow".

During the period of chisongdezan, the king of Tibet in the eighth century, it is recorded in the five teachings of Tibetan Buddhism that master lianhuasheng, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism, visited riduo hot spring to practice (Lotus cave) in person. He once said: "bathing here can wash away people's past sins, purify people's soul, regulate people's Qi, blood, yin and Yang, and cure many diseases; regular bathing can make people have a heart of charity and tolerance, which makes people feel relaxed and happy, and make people want to succeed; it can accumulate human merits, arouse the heart of benefiting others, and obtain good fortune in the afterlife."

Mozhu hot spring is surrounded by eight hot springs like eight changes of master lianhuasheng and 21 hot springs like 21 Taras. The curative effect of each spring is different. The image of riduo hot spring holy mountain is like Tianwang wenduozi, and the hot spring is like the treasure in Tianwang wenduozi's arms. It is a unique treasure house of medicine.
