Cockpit

Douji mountain is not a mountain. It is the two mountains (Chuanshan and pheasant mountain) on the East and west sides of Xiaodongjiang River in Guilin. Because the two mountains are similar to fighting chicken, they are called together.

present situation

Standing on the East Bank of the Xiaodongjiang River, the "chicken" with wide eyes is Chuanshan, while standing on the West Bank, the "chicken crown" is Chishan (Guishan). The peak is the head, the moon rock is the eyes of the chicken, the East peak is the tail, the north and South are the wings, and the middle peak is the back of the chicken. Guishan is like a cockerel with high crown and wings. When the boat passed Jingpingshan, 200 meters near the Lijiang railway bridge, it looked like a fighting scene.

Reverie

Douji mountain is one of the ten wonders of Lijiang River, which arouses people's infinite reverie.

In the Ming Dynasty, Kong Yong, who lived in Chashi, Guangxi, once wrote a poem praising that "when the stone is as clever as a chicken, the crown is far away from the East and the West. Red Luo neck ever see, old kill Castle Peak dare not cry.

Couplet

Once there was a scholar who passed by the mountain and wrote the first couplet: fighting chicken on the mountain.

The scholar's teacher happened to have just visited Longyin cave. When he came out, he wrote the following couplet: Hidden Dragon in Longyin cave.
