Xiaohou dressing house: located in pingdingbao Town, Guyuan County, 7.5km to the east of the county, it was specially built for Xiaohou dressing in the Northern Song Dynasty, so it is called Xiaohou dressing house.

In the northeast, there is a continuous prairie. According to the building, you can see jinlianchuan (Zhidian River) and hulunao (white sea) from afar, and you can see the magnificent palace ruins. The dressing house itself is well preserved. It is the only special architecture of Yuan Dynasty preserved in the north at present.

Shaped like a Mongolian yurt, all built with green bricks. With a square plane and a side length of 9.3 meters, it is a common form of Lama tower. To the east of the south, there is an arched gate, with arched windows on the East and west sides, and an appendix on the top, and then the corner teeth are built on the top, which are divided into two layers. From the south gate into the middle, downstairs for the four corners, on the octagonal. The top of the bucket arch is made of four single layers. The upper layer of the bucket arch is stacked to form a huge dome, which is like a sky curtain. It is about 15 meters high. It is very mysterious. The top is hollow and covered with bricks. There are still walls and building foundations in the north of the dressing building. It is said that the dressing table of Empress Dowager Xiao was not built in the Liao Dynasty. According to the shape analysis, it was built in the Yuan Dynasty, and it should be a temple in the palace. The structure of the temple is different from that of the general temple. For example, the lower part is a square tower with a huge dome, which is similar to the medieval observatory. It is completely imitated from the form of yurt, reflecting the style and characteristics of national architecture.

"Empress Xiao" refers to Xiao Chuo, the empress of liaojingzong, the famous empress dowager Xiao, the mother of liaoshengzong in history. After the Regency of Xiao Chuo, the emperor of Liao, the Empress Dowager and the ministers of the tribe all settled down in Liangling and built the palace for the consecutive 16 years from the 9th year to the 25th year of Tonghe (991-1007 A.D.).
