Yangshan stone Buddha is located in Qixian town under the bridge in the north of Shaoxing. It is one of the four largest stone Buddha in the south of the Yangtze River.

According to historical records, in the ninth year of emperor kaihuang of Sui Dynasty, he called himself Emperor in Yuezhou. The emperor ordered Yang Guang, king of Jin Dynasty, and Yang Su, governor of Navy, to launch a campaign against him. In order to prevent future trouble, Yang sucai built Luocheng with Yangshan stone, which formed today's natural scenery. Among them, there are statues in Shifo peak grottoes. There is a stone Buddha temple near the lake at the foot of Yangshan. In addition, there are many cliff stone carvings in Zhufeng, among which the word "leap" is said to be written by Han Shizhong, a famous general in the Southern Song Dynasty.
