According to folklore, once upon a time there was a ferocious rich man in Huangshan, who was called "Mountain Wolf" by farmers. Dashan's family broke the year of firewood and rice, and gave Dashan a girl, a bag of rice and a pig leg. The girl was robbed by coyotes to get married and run for her life.
