Tao Jiazhai
Tao family house is the former residence of Tao Changqing, a Confucian businessman in the late Qing Dynasty. It was built in 1908. The main building covers an area of 1590 square meters, with a construction area of 1246 square meters. With the decline and migration of the Tao family, the century old house has gradually become a desolate and dilapidated school.
Introduction to scenic spots
After liberation, it was successively used as the site of Chuansha No.3 towel factory, Yuejin middle school, Lishen hardware and plastic products factory and Xingguang daily chemical factory. After the renovation, the Tao family house was funded by Zhongbang group. Now it is Zhongbang Art Museum, in which some artists' works are displayed. The interior displays the designer's paintings, rebuilt cafes and conference rooms for small gatherings and meetings.
