Shanghai Hanxiang Water Expo, located at 3805 Jiangchuan Road, Minhang District, Shanghai, is a water ecological garden built by 3000 villagers of Pengdu village, Maqiao Town, Minhang District to protect the safety of drinking water intake in Shanghai. It covers an area of 400 mu and is adjacent to Huangpu River. It is not only a museum of ancient bridges, but also a conservation area for ancient trees. It is also a rare classical garden in Shanghai that integrates water, bridges, pavilions, platforms, buildings, pavilions, trees, flowers, grass and wood.

Introduction to scenic spots

Water Expo Park is a large-scale ecological park with the theme of protecting water source, protecting mother river, displaying Huangpu River history, culture and Maqiao ancient culture, and the main functions of cultural display, ecological demonstration, leisure tourism and popular science education. The Water Expo Park is composed of ancient ecological park, ancient cultural park and rural sightseeing park. The main components of the park are rivers, ancient bridges, ancient trees, landscape stones and antique buildings. The park is characterized by simplicity, nature and wildness. There are more than 600 ancient trees more than 100 years old in the park, 25 ancient bridges have been built, and two science popularization venues have been built in the park. The Ancient Culture Park focuses on the excavation and display of Huangpu River water culture, Maqiao ancient culture and historical and cultural celebrities of Maqiao. Maqiao ancient culture site simulation Museum and Dong Qichang painting academy are built. The main functions of the rural sightseeing park are modern agricultural sightseeing, Huangpu riverside farmhouse life and local culture exhibition, and farmhouse leisure and entertainment.
