Tomb of Tao Chengzhang

The tomb of Tao Chengzhang is located in Tianzhu, the south of Huangling mountain, the former site of Yanfu temple. On January 13, 1912, Tao Chengzhang was stabbed to death in Shanghai Guangji hospital.

On January 22, the coffin of the martyr moved from Shaoxing guild hall in Shanghai to be buried in front of Fenglin Temple by Xiling bridge in Hangzhou. Yang Zheshang and Shen Youzhi are buried on both sides of the pottery tomb. The tomb is made of bluestone slab. It is a rectangular tomb with a front table. The inscription is carved on the stone body in front of the tomb, which is simple and dignified. He was moved to Jilong mountain in 1964. It was destroyed during the cultural revolution. In September 1981, it was relocated to the present site. Another bone changing altar was set in the middle of the tomb, with the inscription: "the tomb of Tao Chengzhang was moved from Jilong mountain to nantianzhu in September 1981.". Today's pottery tomb is on the west side of Xu Xilin's tomb. The tomb is still restored as it is. It is rectangular in shape. The pottery tomb is in the middle, and Yang Zheshang and Shen youzhifu are buried around. The tomb is 1.5 meters high and 2 meters wide. It was built from the tomb of the martyr.
