Appearance design

The monument is about 18 meters high and 22 meters wide. It is made of ochre red granite like concrete. The design is made by Pan Xirou, a famous sculptor and professor of the Chinese Academy of fine arts. The monument square covers an area of 28.6 mu. The surrounding green space is mainly composed of Cinnamomum camphora, Cedrus deodarum, Osmanthus fragrans and other evergreen trees. The overall style is solemn, majestic and solemn.
