Santai mountain scenic spot (Santai Mountain Forest Park) is located in the northern suburb of Suqian City. In May 1997, it was named and established by the Department of agriculture and forestry of Jiangsu Province. On June 8 of the same year, Zhang Zhen, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, inscribed the name of the park.

Santai mountain scenic spot (Santai Mountain Forest Park) is a large-scale scenic spot combining nature and culture, 7 kilometers away from the city center, with a total area of 10450 mu. This is a hilly land with many hills and hills. The highest altitude is 73.4 meters. In the territory, there are undulating peaks and ravines, clear water and small lakes, and ancient forests, forming a special scenic belt, known as "Xishuangbanna of Jiangsu". Four kilometers to the west is the vast Luoma Lake, with beautiful scenery. The park has 6000 mu of forest, more than 70 kinds of trees, natural lawns all over the mountains and more than 100 kinds of wild animals. From a high altitude, you can have a panoramic view of the scenery of lakes and mountains, the new appearance of the city and the Tianyuan scenery. Among the famous eight sceneries in Suqian, the two sceneries of "three peaks at sunset" and "grape drunk moon" are in the park.

There are many cultural landscapes in the park, including the cultural sites of the Neolithic period and the Western Han Dynasty; the ancient battlefields of the Tang and Song Dynasties and the sites of the modern "Subei campaign"; and the beautiful and moving myths and legends of the past, which make the whole scenic area more inspirational. Designed by Jiangsu forestry exploration and Design Institute, the park has more than 40 scenic spots and tourist spots, such as large amusement park, water park, Baxian bathing beach, zoo, youth education center, etc., from the perspective of highlighting forest wild interest.

Landscape

The southern part of Santai mountain forest park is a grassy slope, which is gentle and open. The whole slope is like a green sea, and the grassland is dotted with colorful wild flowers, just like the northern grassland. There are three high hills in the middle, with undulating terrain. There are three small lakes between the hills, which are connected like streams and water. The scenery of lakes and mountains is similar to that of Jiangnan. The rolling hills, the natural growth of the jungle, mixed in between the craggy and strange mountain cliffs, make people feel the beauty of facing Mount Tai and Mount Huangshan. In the north of the park, there is a gentle sloping land with many gullies. The hillsides, river banks, bamboo forests, orchards, farmhouses, vegetable beds and farmland are well arranged with different scenery, which is like a dreamland of peach blossom. Among the eight sceneries in Suqian, "three peaks at sunset" is in the park. The three peaks refer to the Santai mountain. From afar, the three peaks are like pearls. When the setting sun shines back, the forest valleys are beautiful. Mr. Dou Yanke wrote a poem "sunset of three peaks" to describe the beautiful scenery here: "there are three platforms in the north of Maling, and the floating clouds open in all directions after the rain; the slanting sun is infinitely good, and the mountain is clear and green to send you to the future. "

Forest landscape

The trees in Santai mountain forest park are simple and verdant, which is combined with the special landforms of mountains, water, ditches and gullies, revealing a primitive atmosphere. In some places, the trees are green and dense; in some places, the trees are towering and vigorous, just like huge waves on the green sea. In a ridge and hillside, covered with green pines and cypresses, how many years of these pines and cypresses, no one knows. Because of its long history, the trees are strong and strange, just like dragons circling the forest, which is amazing. In the 6000 mu vast forest, there are also mulberry, poplar, elm, willow, metasequoia, bamboo, pear, apple, hawthorn, peach, grape and other timber and fruit trees. Throughout the year, the scenery is different, and the garden is full of fragrance. People who are on the scene can't help feeling "returning to the original nature".

In the park, there are many relics of ancient major events. In the south of the new reservoir and the north of Santai mountain, there is Songying site. According to historical records: in 1122 ad, Han Shizhong led his army to fight with King Bolong, king of madutong in xusupi army. In 1129, Han Shizhong fought with Zong Han, the marshal of the Jin army. Han's army retreated to Suqian, followed by the Jin people. In 1136 A.D., Han Shizhong attacked Suqian and took control of the defeated Jin soldiers in huyantong, and captured their general Bojin Yahe. In the second year of Kaixi of ningzong of Song Dynasty (1206 AD), Liu Wenqian led his troops to attack the Jin soldiers guarding Suqian. Because of the mountain as a base, the old camp is surrounded by five li, surrounded by four walls, with three towering peaks and a distant view like continuous beads. In the above battles, it was often held by song soldiers, so it was named song camp, and then gradually changed to old camp. Not far west of the old camp, there is an old fortress, which is said to be the place where the song army stationed grain and dried rice, so it is called the rice drying city. There is a north-south Avenue in the middle of the old camp, which is called laoyingkou.

In the park, there are many myths and legends, such as Baxian cave, the remains of Zhangguo chasing donkey, Guangong and Santai mountain, and Baima stream showing baosha, etc. these stories are not only beautiful and vivid, but also have relics or scenes to find. The virtual reality, beautiful and moving, fully reflects the rich spiritual world of the working people of the past dynasties, and reflects the beautiful vision of the people from generation to generation.

Bus routes

In order to ensure the opening of Santai Mountain Forest Park, the Transportation Bureau has formulated the public transportation guarantee scheme for the opening activities in advance: at present, there are two routes:

1. 101 Road (Deji concrete Zhangshan Street). It passes through the main entrance of Fengyang road and the secondary entrance of Yulan Road. There are 20 vehicles in total, and the frequency interval is 10 minutes.

2. Special line for Chemical Industry Park (Yiwu Trade City Xiangsheng group). It passes through the east entrance of Natian village and the north exit of East Gate (Guifang Road). The frequency interval is 40-55 minutes.

At the same time, optimize and extend three lines

1. 104. The terminal station extends from the north of the former Normal University to the parking lot at the main entrance of Fengyang Road, with an interval of 15 minutes. It passes through the main entrance station of Fengyang road in the park and extends to the place before the park officially opens.

2. No.1 tour. The terminal station extends from the original kelahai valley along Aoti Road, Fazhan Avenue, Hehuan road and Santaishan avenue to the main entrance station of Fengyang road. The park will be extended in place before it officially opens.

3. No.2 tour. The terminal is extended from the north of the original zoo to the north gate of Santaishan Park, and the number of vehicles is increased from 8 to 10 with a 12 minute interval. It passes through the east entrance of Natian village, the north exit of East Gate (Guifang Road) and qingdunji (North Gate) of Qingtong road. At present, it has been extended in place.

Two new temporary special lines are planned (October 1-7)

1. Temporary special line 1: the main entrance of west gate of Santai mountain park to the main entrance of East Gate of Santai mountain park. It is planned to put 4 vehicles into 6 stations, including the main entrance of Fengyang Road, the secondary entrance of Yulan Road, qingdunji of Qingtong Road, the north exit of East Gate (Guifang Road), East China Rehabilitation Center and Natian road.

2. Temporary special line 2: City Bus Dispatching Center - sucai road - Edison road - Supi road - Hongzehu West Road - Hongzehu road - Xingfu road - Xingfu North Road - Santaishan Avenue - main entrance of west gate of Santaishan park. 4 vehicles are planned to be put into operation. In addition, two new lines, No. 321 and No. 3, will be opened in November when new cars are in place.
