Baqiao Ecological Wetland Park

Baqiao ecological wetland park project is located in the middle reaches of Bahe city section in Xi'an city. It starts from Huaqing bridge of Dongcheng Avenue in the north and ends at the boundary of Lantian County in the south, adjacent to Xi'an World Expo Park. The total length of the project is 15 km, with a total area of 6.75 square kilometers. It will be constructed in two phases.

About the park

The first phase is about 3.3 km from Huaqing bridge to Xiangyun bridge, with a total area of 2.45 square kilometers, forming a wetland area of 1980 Mu and a green area of 1650 mu. Through the comprehensive management of the Bahe River and the reconstruction of wetland landscape, the project completely changes the features of the Bahe River Basin, such as piles of construction waste, dense sand pits, overgrown weeds and serious ecological damage, and ensures the safety of the Bahe river for a century

. Baqiao ecological wetland park takes Baqiao, Baliu and bashui as the theme culture, which makes the historical culture and local customs of the Bahe River revive and develop. Baqiao ecological wetland park is an important part of the comprehensive development of Xi'an Textile City. It is an important livelihood project, water conservancy project and ecological management project.
