Ancient city site of sirou

The ancient city site of sirou is located on the platform in the northwest of sirou village, Ganjia Township, Xiahe County, 25 kilometers south of the county. The main city is square. Except for a 4.3-meter-long wall in the north, the rest of the city is broken into high earth ridges, 197.4-meter-long in the East, 222-meter-long in the west, 183.6-meter-long in the north, 208-meter-long in the south. The remnant height is 2.8-meter, the base width is 1.5-meter, and the top is 0.90-meter. It is rammed with a stick. Only the south side has a gate, and the other three sides have no gate facilities. There are moats of 9-10 meters in the East, West and south.

Introduction to scenic spots

There are many remains of the wall outside the main city, which are suspected to be the remains of protecting the castle and adding the outer wall. There are two square wall bases in the south. They are 83 m x 97 m and 75.5 m x 92.2 m in size respectively, and should be attached to the barracks castle. The main city is the central axis of the overall palace building complex, there are still remains, the site has four white marble basin style plinth, diameter of about 68.5 cm, there are a large number of residual pottery, brick and glass decorations. It may be thought that this city was the "Yigong city" in the Northern Song Dynasty, and it was the ruins of the city construction of the eastern Tubo kusiluo local government in the Song Dynasty. One is the ancient temple site.
