Dongli Plaza

Dongli square, with a total area of 50000 square meters, was built in October 2003. It is adjacent to Dongli District Government in the south, Qixia road in the south, Yuejin Road in the East and Jintang highway in the north. It is located in the political, economic and cultural core of Dongli District.

Dongli square means "the place where the sun rises in the East". The large fountains on the main axis moisten the surrounding air. The main scene of the main square is a nearly 4-meter-high water folding platform in front of the platform

In order to emboss "dongchenglifeng", there are six groups of dry fountains around the main square, representing the six pillar industries of Dongli District. There is a platform on the inner side of the folding platform, which is separated from the water surface by a glass railing. People can view the folding water spring from afar or close to it, or sit on the steps and talk in pairs. The center of the platform is the sculpture of "Pengcheng in the East". The sculpture is composed of abstract modeling of doors, boats and sails. It is intended to show the important geographical location of Dongli District as the east gate of Tianjin, the profound history with water culture as the theme and the strong development momentum under the new situation. Dongli square covers an area of about 30000 square meters of hardened pavement, 20000 square meters of water surface and green area, with a green coverage rate of about 40%. There are more than 60 kinds of trees and flowers, rich in tree species and verdant trees, among which the landscape stones and chairs are arranged. As a highlight of Dongli District, Dongli square beautifies the environmental development of the whole Dongli District and improves the overall appearance of the whole district.
