Fenghe Wetland Park

Fenghe Wetland Park in Fengdong new town is the largest ecological park in the western suburb of Xi'an and the first ecological scenic spot in Xixian new district. The park opened on May 1, 2013 and can be visited free of charge, covering an area of 1200 mu.

Park overview

The development of Fenghe Wetland Park was started in March 2011. The overall landscape planning is divided into three areas: ecological living area, urban living area and natural living area.

The planning area of phase I landscape project is about 7548 mu. The West Bank mainly includes urban landscape area, pastoral landscape area and natural landscape area, while the east bank mainly includes Wetland Park area, comprehensive service area, culture and art area, leisure activity area, social park area, pastoral landscape area and amorous business area.

Management and welcome

Fenghe wetland park opened on May 1, 2013.

The Fenghe River comprehensive treatment project includes five sub projects of flood control, water surface, landscape, municipal administration and housing construction. The whole section of the project starts from g310 national highway, goes down to the Weikou of Fenghe River, and flows through Doumen Street office, wangsi Street office, Gaoqiao Street office in Xi'an, Fengdong Street office and diaotai Street office in Xianyang. The total length of the project basin is 21.8 km, including 11 km in Xi'an and 10.8 km in Xianyang.

Up to now, the first phase of Fenghe River comprehensive treatment project has completed 7 kilometers of embankment filling in the whole year, the landscape engineering has completed the demonstration section of Fenghe river east bank starting area, the terrain earthwork arrangement inside and outside the embankment and some green seedlings planting, the planning exhibition hall, ecological pool, bicycle rental center and terrace garden and other basic main construction have also been completed, and by may 2013, Fenghe River Wetland Park will open The door is open to visitors.
