Shahe ancient bridge
Shahe ancient bridge is located at the junction of Xitun village and Zicun village, diaotai Township, Qindu District, 10 km southwest of Xianyang city. It is the earliest large-scale wooden bridge found in China.

Shahe ancient bridge is the earliest large-scale wooden bridge discovered in China - Qin and Han bridge site. In 1986, two bridge sites were excavated by Shaanxi Provincial Institute of archaeology. The distance between the two bridges is 330 meters, both of which are of wooden frame structure. The wooden piles of No.1 Bridge were arranged in order, and 143 piles in 16 rows were cleared.
Five rows of 40 bridge piles were cleared out for No. 2 bridge, which were arranged from east to west and corresponded to North and south.
The bridge is about 16 meters wide. There are copper components, iron trough plate, deformed sunflower pattern tile, plain half tile, geometric square brick, rope pattern tile, tube tile and so on. Shahe ancient bridge is a bridge between Xianyang City in Qin Dynasty and Chang'an City in Han Dynasty to Shanglinyuan and Bashu in the west to cross Fengshui river.
It is proved by experts that this is the earliest large-scale wooden bridge in China. In 1989, the discovery was rated as one of the top ten archaeological discoveries in China.
