Former site of the French Embassy
The embassy was established in the 11th year of Xianfeng. After the treaty was signed, it was expanded and rebuilt. Most of the buildings were built after the 26th year of Guangxu. A pair of Chinese stone lions are placed in front of the gate, which is similar to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. The courtyard has a central fountain and four two-story buildings with French country villa style. The scope of protection is along the old wall of the former French Embassy, the west red line is planned to reach taijichang road in the East, the North red line is planned to reach dongjiaomin Lane Road in the south, the West courtyard wall and extension line in the west, and the south red line is planned to reach the boundary wall with the municipal Party committee courtyard in the north.
