Three bridge Hutong
Sanzuoqiao hutong is located in Xicheng District of Beijing. It starts from Qianhai West Street in the north and ends at Di'anmen West Street in the south.
brief introduction
Sanzuoqiao Hutong intersects Qiangan Hutong. It used to be called "Jiangan Hutong" in the reign of Qianlong. It was changed to its present name in the reign of Xuantong.
Before 1949, there was indeed a bridge here. At the north end of the Hutong, it was a bridge built in the Ming Dynasty across the Yuhe River: "there was Haizi bridge on the South Bank of Haizi, also known as Yueqiao, which is called three bridges in common.".
Wang Jiaxiang, one of the pioneers of the Communist Party of China and new China's foreign work, once lived in three bridges and hutongs.
present situation
The three bridges and hutongs are very busy, and teams of tourist groups often pass by. In contrast, the yangjiaodeng Hutong nearby is much quieter and quieter.
Hutong 21 was also the horse name of Prince Gong's mansion.
