Xiang'an District Library is a public welfare cultural facility, a public library invested by the district government in 2011, and an important window to show the spiritual civilization construction of Xiang'an.

In December 2018, it was announced as the advanced unit of nationwide reading in 2017 by China Library Association.

Brief introduction of Xiang'an District Library

Xiang'an District Library is located on the first floor of the district cultural center, with a construction area of 2100 square meters. It has a collection of more than 40000 books, more than 40 kinds of newspapers and more than 180 kinds of periodicals.

There are more than 240 reading seats in the library. There are seven service windows for social readers, including general literature borrowing area, newspaper reading area, electronic reading area, Braille reading area, children's reading area, self-study area and rest area. The library adopts the open and flexible service mode of collection, borrowing, reading and checking, so as to meet the needs of readers' learning and reading and provide high-quality literature information service.
