Xicheng flat peach garden

The flat peach garden was originally built in 1956 by the graduates of BINGTUAN Agricultural College who were assigned to the regiment. They introduced the first batch of tree species from Manas, with a planting area of more than 1000 mu. They became the earliest and largest state-owned peach tree base in Northern Xinjiang, with an annual fruit yield of 1.1 million kg for Northern Xinjiang. During the cultural revolution, Taoyuan was destroyed. After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the CPC, some experienced fruit growers became the first batch of peach growers, and the orchards became more and more prosperous. Now, the flat peach garden of No.2 camp of No.143 regiment has formed a certain scale, and nearly 400 mu of the garden is contracted by fruit farmers. They continue to cultivate improved varieties, scientific management, reasonable thinning flowers and branches, making the flat peach here bright color, moderate sweet and sour, soft meat, crisp and delicious, unique flavor. At the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, stepping into the peach garden is like being in a fairyland. Flat peach garden has been producing all kinds of fruits since 1950s, especially the production of flat peach is well-known at home and abroad, and is favored by friends at home and abroad. Party and state leaders and friends from more than 40 countries have come to our fair many times to personally taste flat peaches and visit flat peach garden, and have given them high praise. Flat peach is cultivated in Shandong, Hebei, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Gansu and other provinces in China, but it is far different from the flat peach of Xinjiang overseas Chinese farm in quality, color, taste and various nutrients. In the past ten years, as long as the guests at home and abroad come to Xinjiang to catch up with the ripening season of flat peaches, they all come to our flat peach garden to taste the flat peaches themselves, and say from the bottom of their heart: "the fruit, taste and shape of such flat peaches are really the kind of flat peaches of the queen mother in the legend of journey to the West. They really have a long aftertaste, never forget, and should be developed more."
